Not in Legion, but when 7.1 is released (some months from now). It's important to note that they could change their mind at any point, but as of this post, when 7.1 is released, this will break.Raelda wrote:I heard that in legion they were getting rid of 3d overlays (band aid) for raiding.

Addon+WA for Holy Paladin Mastery
Came across this, pretty amazing. http://i.imgur.com/HKWJY7K.jpg You need to go here: https://wow.curseforge.com/addons/bandaid/ Download the addon AND import the Weak Aura. There are 3 WA's in a group. The WA's, from top to bottom, do: 1. Progress Bar, from 0% - 100%. This is HUGE! It measures how ...

Re: H.Pally and MW Ability Immunity
Oops! Good point, corrected my post, thanks.
Also, good point on Council fights. It's a good thing to consider boss-by-boss.

Re: H.Pally and MW Ability Immunity
Great post! However the Tier 7 talent Beacon of the Lightbringer should you take it, which in my opinion it is one of the better choices in the tier, makes it so you can be melee or ranged depending on where your beacon is placed and still hit the majority of the raid with your mastery bonus. I'm s...

Re: H.Pally and MW Ability Immunity
Good link! To add to that list: Iron Reaver - supposedly, being in melee exempts you from being targeted with barrage. I haven't been able to definitely confirm this, but it's been mentioned several times that holy paladins in melee will not be targeted with barrage with another healer standing out....

Re: PSA: Hand of Sacrifice should be used as a last resort in Legion, if at all
If I remember correctly the Holy Pally artifact weapon has a slot that reduces the damage taken to the paladin using BoS. Not sure if its been changed or how much of a reduction it is but I know it existed Unfortunately, that's a trap. At max level, it will reduce the damage transfer by 30%. My ini...

Re: PSA: Hand of Sacrifice should be used as a last resort in Legion, if at all
It will be interesting to see how many top world guilds bring in a Holy Paladin for Legion progression. I think with the martyr style of healing with no mobility, and no good raid/tank CD's (beside devo) is going to hurt us in progression. Its almost a guarantee that a holy paladin will die casting...

Re: PSA: Hand of Sacrifice should be used as a last resort in Legion, if at all
I tend to agree with a lot of your points, and IMO many of the paladins (including Jeathebelle) are making a way too big a deal out of it (e.g. promising to spam Sac on CD and die to petition Blizzard to show how bad of a change it is). There are smart/dumb ways to use it, and a good paladin will fi...

Funnily enough, Holy Paladins are shaping up to be pretty good in Legion... we just don't have a dependable external CD anymoreThidus wrote:This is the backlash holy pallies get for being so strong for so long
