Have you read, and do you agree to abide by the guild’s code of conduct as stated here?
Yes, absolutely! o7
How did you learn about Eternal Kingdom?
I was a member of Gallant back when Raelea was raid leading for that team in Dragonflight. I was recruited by Fleecey, and trained at the Paladin academy by Rick himself. The lore is deep, but I'll keep it short. I really enjoyed my time in <Eternal Kingdom>, and I left on good terms.
Are you currently or have you ever been a trial or member of any Eternal Kingdom raiding team? If so, when and who?
Yes, I was a raider for Gallant in Dragonflight. We were progressing Mythic Vault of the Incarnates at the time. I went on to raid with this team for several months (The better part of a year?) and we made great progress!
What are your preferred pronouns?
He/Him
Tell us a bit about your raiding experience—any noteworthy positive or negative experiences, etc.?
Raiding with EK in the past has been a very, very fond memory! The tempo, atmosphere, and community are for sure something to remember.
Outside of that, I've actively played World of Warcraft since release in 2004, and I started raiding in TBC around 2008.
As far as negative experiences, I haven't encountered many! I'm a serious gamer, but at the end of the day I see raiding as a hobby. No reason to harbor negative feelings about something so positive and fun.
What are your goals and priorities in the game? What type of support would you be looking for from team members/team leadership in achieving those goals?
I always aim to improve my personal performance week to week outside of raid times! I want to parse well, and I'm not afraid to study fights in my free time. My main goals include: Getting Cutting Edged before the end of the tier, Pushing M+ past 3k io, and helping as many people as I can learn the fights to prepare for Mythic content. All I can expect from my team is to stay positive and motivated to match my efforts. As far as leadership is concerned, Raelea has my full confidence.
What do you feel is your biggest strength—outside of output—that you bring to a raid team? Why do you value this strength?
I always keep a positive mentality. Life can be tough and if we get to escape to Azeroth weekly, how could I be in a bad mood?
I'm always punctual. Being on time and prepared requires zero talent and can take you very far!
I have hustle. Starting the expansion late means that I have to put a little extra effort into getting on the cutting edge, but luckily I am trained to hustle.
Let's cook!

What is your biggest area for improvement as a raider? What are you doing to address it?
Improvement is always available, as long as you're willing to work for it. We can always do a little extra to improve, and I'm certain I can address any issues head on and make corrections. Historically, I've always struggled mentally with slow prog. I get bored looking at the same boss for too long and tend to zone out sometimes, but knowing that makes it an easy problem to fix. I can use coffee as a performance enhancer to stay focused!
Is this character a main swap? If so, please list any relevant logs or experience on other characters.

Paladin has been my main spec since WotLK! I was a proud wielder of Shadowmourne for my Heroic 25man guild during our ICC prog. I'm fluent is all 3 Paladin specs, and I've spent many, many hours honing my Ret Paladin spec especially. For Holy, I'm using Vuhdo with Ellesmere profiles imported, and it makes healing very comfortable. Prot spec is pretty mindless, but tanking requires specific knowledge fight to fight for positioning, so I don't flew Prot very often, but I can when needed.
TL;DR I'm trilingual on paladin

What is your comfort level with M+ content?
3k+ io is my seasonal goal. I tend to get it on the 3rd or 4th week of a new season, but i'm starting this season 3 weeks late! Looking forward to hustling to reach my goals. Needless to say, I'm extremely comfortable healing or dpsing M+.
We like to balance progression with having a good time. Tell us about yourself outside of WoW—any hobbies, interests, or anything else you’d like us to know?
I'm a chef! I run a kitchen 70+ hours a week, and my team runs like a well oiled machine. Cooking is an amazing expression of love and art at the end of the day. I don't just cook for money, I also cook at home most nights!
I also love playing many other games. I've got my Super Nintendo, which was my first gaming console. I've been trolling Battle.net since Diablo 1!
I'm glad you asked this, because now I realize I need more hobbies xD

I hope this application was well read, because I want to be an outstanding applicant. Thanks for taking some time out of your day to consider me for your raid team, and make sure to take a few extra moments to enjoy your own hobbies today. I know I will after answering this. Have an awesome day!
